MICROCHip in the golf ball

Every ball at Topgolf is equipped with an RFID chip. With the help of a total of over 250,000 chips and around 640 readers, the balls can be precisely assigned to individual players and registered with millimetre accuracy at the finish line.

Toptracer technology

Our Toptracer technology is able to track the trajectory of every ball in real time. For this purpose, 14 high-speed cameras are installed throughout the facility. This high-tech installation makes it possible to merge the real and virtual worlds - without the need for VR glasses. Games such as Angry Birds or JewelJam are only made possible by this. Did you know that exactly the same technology is used for every broadcast of the PGA and DP World Tour? So you can feel just like the pros on the biggest tours in the world at Topgolf!
